บริษัท iFixit เจ้าเก่าได้ทำการแยกชิ้นส่วน iPhone 4 เพื่อให้เห็นไส้ในกันจะๆ ว่ามันมีอะไรอยู่ในนั้นบ้าง เหมือนที่คิดกันหรือเปล่า หลังจาก iFixit เริ่มชำแหละ iPhone 4 ทำให้สามารถยืนยันได้ว่า iPhone 4 มาพร้อมกับหน่วยความจำ (RAM) 512MB (2 เท่าของ iPhone 3GS และ iPad) และรูปแบบการเชื่อมต่อแบตเตอรี่แบบใหม่ ตลอดจนเผยให้เห็นถึงฮาร์ดแวร์ในส่วนที่เป็น accelerometer และ Gyroscope คราวนี้มาดูข้อสรุปโดยย่อจาก iFixit กันดีกว่า

แบตเตอรี่: พื้นที่ ช่องว่างภายใน iPhone 4 ส่วนใหญ่จะถูกครอบครองโดยแบตเตอรี่ Li-Polymer ทีมีแรงดัน 3.7 โวลต์ 1420 mAh ซึ่งทำให้ผู้ใช้สามารถใช้ iPhone 4 ในการสนทนา หรือต่อเน็ต 3G ได้นานถึง 7 ชั่วโมง หรือเพิ่มขึ้นเป็น 14 ชั่วโมงสำหรับ 2G ส่วนเสาอากาศซ่อนอยู่ในด้านหลังของตัวถังเครื่อง
